VW Multivan 2023 Bonnet

Anybody had a problem opening the bonnet ? If so how did you manage to get it open. The bonnet catch in the car is in the pulled back position as if its open but it's not, the bonnet hasn't sprung so it's in the fully closed position ? TIA

Cable may be stretched, snapped or latch in bonnet sticking. Maybe have someone pull the bonnet up while pulling lever back.
